Thank you for all your help with my order, especially with it being so last minute. The shirts arrived on time & I’ve been told by colleagues at the event that they looked fantastic. Hopefully I’ll be able to work with you again in the future. Thanks, again. Melodie.

Socks

Socks are terribly underrated clothing items but they serve a very important function. Feet perspire and unless there is an absorbent layer inside a closed footwear item like boots, trainers or shoes there could be sweat gathered creating an ideal environment for microbes and fungus to thrive with the possibility of conditions like athlete’s foot developing. Open footwear like sandals and flip flops allow sweat to evaporate and thus avoid the creation of the ideal fungal environment. Athlete’s foot is a very uncomfortable condition, itchy and sore and with an offensive smell – most undesirable. Clean, dry feet, fresh socks daily and changing footwear regularly so that it can breathe is essential to avoid this.

Socks that creep inside footwear can be uncomfortable and the wrinkles that form can rub against tender skin to cause abrasions that can form blisters. Sore feet make walking very uncomfortable and sometimes impossible but snug fitting socks can help prevent the formation of painful blisters and protect the toes and feet from any seams in the construction of footwear.

The friction caused on the soles of the feet between the fabric and the skin through prolonged activity and high impact movements can cause blood blisters, again a terribly uncomfortable condition but one that can be avoided by cushion soled socks that fit well.
