It is astounding how much difference a small piece of fabric can make to your comfort. A scarf at the neck will keep you amazingly warm. If you are still wearing one indoors when you return from a walk outside you soon have to undo it or remove it as the heat becomes too much.

Doubling up as something warm to sit on outdoors or to cover your thighs with when you take a break from your activity the versatility and adaptability of a scarf makes it an essential wardrobe item. They are very fashionable items and with some styles having an integral zipped compartment they can provide handy storage for small items too.
