I’ve just received a delivery of the polo shirts. They look great, the pink is spot on. Many thanks.

Ties

Neckties inherently make a uniform smart and professional looking. If this is the image you wish to portray there are many colour choices in plain ties and for those who have to be particularly safety or security conscious, there is the black, short, clip-on tie.

A positive effect of wearing a tie is that there is less likelihood by the wearer to have neck buttons of their shirt or blouse undone, thereby maintaining a professional appearance welcomed by management, associating it with a professional attitude. When the neck is covered and the collar is secured with a tie, any jewellery items may remain hidden from display. Another consideration is the modesty offered by such attire – no escaping curls of chest hair or décolletage displayed that might detract from your staff’s professional demeanour.

With plain ties you might decide on a house style of knot so that your staff all sport the same look, or you might leave it up to the individual wearer how they present their tie with their uniform. If you have corporate colours that you use in other elements of staff attire, the tie could also become part of that collection so that T-shirt wearers, apron wearers and tie wearers all share the same colour and promote your company brand without the expense of overprinting or customised items. Taking this route you can readily replace items inexpensively.
