Training Bibs

For any team sports there has to be cooperation as well as competition. Even fitness sessions might have teams sub-divided into squads for training purposes. Making the best use of time and resources a good coach will have developed a programme that will have members involved in an activity, participant for most of the time but perhaps assuming an assistant role whilst recovering from a particularly strenuous effort like a bleep test perhaps.

Knowing who is where, in the gym for circuit training or on the pitch for skills a drill is important both for safety and organisational purposes. By using training bibs, groups can easily be identified and anyone out of place, easily spotted. Playing opposed games to practice set pieces or to try out your probables against the possibles will require some means of identification.

Most team players will turn up to training in whatever appropriate, clean kit they have. They can be a motley crew that could only be separated in to teams based on their apparel if you demanded that one side strips of their shirts so that ‘shirts and skins’ form the teams. This isn’t always a practical solution especially in colder weather or where protective padding is worn by players.

Training bibs can easily be slipped on or off if you need players to change sides or make a substitution and can be worn over whatever tops your players are wearing.
