Rugby shirts, when they are not covered in mud or blood, make smart leisure wear items for people. Rugby shirts for playing purposes need to be robust items. Although the game has rules to keep play flowing and players injury free, there is nothing in the rules that says you have to contest the ball ‘nicely’.
