Ladies’ sports tops have to undergo considerably harsh treatment when they are used for physically demanding activities. Freedom of movement, comfort and functionality are essential qualities these garments have to possess.

Participation in team games will require commitment to regular training sessions for skills practice and possibly separate trips to the gym for fitness and conditioning work. Obviously several sports tops will be required to meet the differing demands of you training schedule.

Fleeces with a full zip front or quarter zip fronts that pull on over the head are ideal for keeping out the cold when on the sidelines awaiting a call to join in, for preventing too fast a cool down after strenuous activity and as protection from the elements when coaching or watching your team play.

Tracksuit tops with or without integral hoods are always handy to have as they can be worn over several other layers of clothing or simply over a vest or swimsuit for immediate thermal benefits. Going to the gym or training ground might involve carrying a kit bag with training essentials and a separate coat (that would be unsuitable for pitch side, pool side or gym floor wear) would only add to the weight and bulk of what is carried.
