Part of any urban wear collection will include a hoodie. The bad press from years ago that associated the top with feral youths is long gone and they are universally accepted as leisure garments that are extremely practical.

A hoodie is basically a sweatshirt with a hood attached to it, making it incredibly versatile as an item for either outer wear or indoor wear. There are sleeveless styles which are excellent for beach wear when you want to have a bit of a cover up in an absorbent fabric to absorb surface moisture from the skin and the benefit of a hood to either block a breeze or dry hair. Long sleeved styles are fantastic for keeping warm, will be comfortable to wear and look great in any relaxed social occasion that doesn’t have a demanding dress code.

Some hoodies look really hot – think of the ‘Dontcha’ video of the Pussy Cat Dolls, whether you area a fan or not you can’t deny they look absolutely amazing. Of course, you don’t have to opt for drop dead sexy as your choice of style you can play down curves and shapeliness if you don’t want to draw attention to your body and actually prefer a disguise or something to detract from your feminine features. A sweatshirt can perform both functions equally well and of course your accessories will add to your appearance and determine your look.
