Some men like to be known as natty dressers and have just as many designer labels in their wardrobes as women do. High fashion does have noticeable differences between couture items and chain store garments; the attention and detail paid to the design, the fabric used and any prints or patterns that declare a season’s look as straight off the catwalk can be important.

However, a V-necked T-shirt is a simple design that has been around for many years now – any changes to it stop it being a T-shirt and change it into something else. The T-shirt is so called because of the shape it assumes when flat; the sleeves sit out form the body of the garment at right angles to the shoulders giving the distinctive ‘T’ shape.
