Some men like to be known as natty dressers and have just as many designer labels in their wardrobes as women do. High fashion does have noticeable differences between couture items and chain store garments; the attention and detail paid to the design, the fabric used and any prints or patterns that declare a season’s look as straight off the catwalk can be important.

However, a V-necked T-shirt is a simple design that has been around for many years now – any changes to it stop it being a T-shirt and change it into something else. The T-shirt is so called because of the shape it assumes when flat; the sleeves sit out form the body of the garment at right angles to the shoulders giving the distinctive ‘T’ shape. Few T-shirts are constructed from fabrics like silk, wool or cashmere; they tend to be pure cotton or cotton mix with a shape-retaining addition like elastane. If the style is plain and unadorned there can be no print or pattern to declare a designer or a season so really there is no need to spend a fortune on a plain T-shirt when there is no discernible difference between an expensive Tee and an inexpensive Tee.

As long as the garment is well-constructed, the best are made of durable interlock rib knot fabrics, seams will stay straight, necklines remain neat and hemlines unpuckered. Our V-necked T-shirts are great value for money and stylishe to boot.
