Much is spoken of clothes layering in the fashion industry and in sports circles. The most basic element of any dress though is the underwear that forms the foundation garment upon which all other layers are built.

To provide comfort for the wearer and to give a good line for whatever types of trousers are worn – a decent pair of briefs or boxers is essential. A good pair of underpants will protect the genitals with a generous leg cut so that there is ample room for the thighs but not so highly cut that they would compromise modesty or comfort.

Underwear that wrinkles and crinkles can cause you to constantly adjust the leg holes at the front near the gusset or the back near the buttocks. Bits and pieces getting caught in the wrong place can be most uncomfortable and it can be embarrassing making the adjustments at inopportune moments.
