Hoodies

Just as a fleece, a T-shirt and a sweat shirt very probably have a place in your wardrobe, if you haven’t already become a convert, a hoodie could be your new favourite garment.

What is particularly great about hoodies is that they can look respectably smart in a casual setting but they can live very long lives as even when distressed they just look well-loved. Admittedly that specific look can probably only be pulled off by younger men, older men in distressed hoodies could look as if they have lost the plot or the ability to use a washing machine. In this state they are probably best as ‘work’ clothes for tidying up the garden, pottering in the garage or cleaning the car…put on a clean and tidy one for a visit to the pub with friends and family if you want to avoid people talking about you and your state of dress.

Zip fronts and pull-on styles are both available, they’re great for on the beach, a walk in the park or just a comfy everyday item. Pockets can be at the sides or as a pouch at the front; both styles look great and hold wallets, phones and keys handily.
