Visors

BC041
The visor is an item of headwear popularised by sports professionals and adopted by the general public as a functional fashion item. The basic construction of a visor is a headband with an adjustable strap either with a buckle, clasp or Velcro® fastening to make sure it can fit comfortably, stay secure and provide protection from the sun. Attached to the strap is a padded front piece that takes the strain of the headband and also acts as an absorbent medium for sweat. Protruding from the front in the same style as a base ball cap or an army cap is a contoured peak to shelter the eyes from the glare of the sun.

    Simple, isn’t it?

Most of the best are ideas are simple and the visor allows the head to sweat and evaporate freely from the hair as the scalp remains uncovered. Many women prefer the style of a visor rather than a baseball cap because they can still have a variety of hairstyles. A visor ensures they that won’t be crushed by a crown covering and ponytails or bunches can still sit high on the head without interference from the ‘cap’ and the wearer can look stylish without sacrificing their locks.
