Very impressed with the service received last week. You kept me informed of what was happening with the order - ordered Wednesday pm, delivered Friday a.m. - exactly as ordered. Couldn’t ask for better. Many thanks AG.

Gymsac

A gymsac is a lightweight alternative to a backpack that can be folded up when you have no need of it and filled with all manner of items when you are out and about.

Originally gymsacs were designed for carrying clothing that you would wear in a school gym – a pair of shorts and a vest or T-shirt or polo shirt, socks, plimsolls and a towel. Some girls might have carried a leotard, dance skirt and pumps. In schools where ‘gym’ classes were interchangeable with any PE activity classes like games or swimming, not exclusively gymnastics, whatever kit was required was slipped in as appropriate.

The popularity of power walking and fitness generally has seen the gymsac being used for carrying a jacket or fleece or sweat top for when the wearer is too warm and needs somewhere to carry their clothing or in case a shower of rain falls and a protective covering is needed. Along with a bottle of water to prevent dehydration a gymsac can carry all that is needed to enjoy a stroll or a brisk, energetic walk, leaving hands free to open gates, climb fences or overcome whatever obstacles may present themselves to you on your route.
