Cooler Bags

Cooler bags are fabulous for making sure that when you are carrying drinks and foodstuffs they can remain fresh and appetising especially meat and dairy products as they can quickly spoil in the heat. Anything that you need to keep cool like medicines, SPF lotions, gel ice-packs or certain pieces of equipment can be safely stored in a cooler bag.

Cooler bags are really thermal insulation bags and they can help to retain residual heat in the same way they can retain residual cold. With a waterproof lining you can carry liquids safely and spillages or condensation won’t pose a problem. By preparing the bag first with frozen packs of ice encased in plastic and putting pre-chilled items into the bag you can ensure a lengthier period of coolness for the contents. To maintain the cool temperature you must make sure that you don’t leave the bag open for too long. You should treat it like a fridge or a freezer and ‘close the door’ after each use.

If you don’t have frozen plastic blocks you can always freeze a bottle of water or juice, it will perform the same function and at the end of the day when it has thawed you will have a cool drink or spare water for washing hands or utensils.
