Keeping cool can be an issue for some women and with a short-sleeved shirt as part of a corporate uniform that issue is appropriately addressed. There are short-sleeved shirts with different finishes and fabric mixes that make them easy care, non-iron or wrinkle resistant so that laundering them presents no special care problems and they can be restored to their box-fresh appearance with little maintenance. Although pure cotton, silk or linen may be desirable fabrics they really aren’t welcome in a work wardrobe unless they come with an available housekeeper who will hand wash and iron the items throughout the working week.
