Hoodies, or hooded sweatshirts, are extremely popular garments with children of all ages. They have achieved a certain elevated fashion status as credible ‘street wear’ and this gives them extra appeal to youngsters and teenagers.

They can be used as an outer garment or as an extra warming layer for indoor wear during cold spells. Basically a hoodie is a sweatshirt with an integral soft hood.
