Sports Bottoms

We are very lucky that there are many clubs and organisations with facilities for a whole range of different sports and physical activities. From indoor wall climbing and fencing to soccer and swimming there are many choices. Even sports that have their own uniform such as leotards for gymnasts and dancers still avail of sports bottoms to keep them warm in between sessions or to dress in for travelling to and from the activity.

A pair of jeans could easily cover the aforementioned leotard but many athletes like to declare their sporty nature and so adopt a uniform that declares their interest. A swimmer doesn’t need to have sports bottoms but you’ll find that many of them wear them to the pool and back again.

Admittedly they are awfully easy to pull on and off when the style has zip and hem access, especially when you have boots or trainers, unlike jeans or joggers. Perhaps that is their appeal – speed of dressing and undressing and the ability to keep warm when on the bench yet be prepared for a call to the field or court as soon as it is made.

Sports bottoms, being so easy to step into, are excellent garments for covering the legs after physical activity to keep the muscles warm as they relax down after their exertion.
