Playing outside in the cold can be fun as long as your child is cosy. Riding bikes, playing in the park or walking the dog isn’t as much fun if you are stuck in an outfit that makes you look like the Hulk or the Michelin Man when moving your arms for quick moves is difficult if not impossible.

One solution to this problem is a zip fronted body warmer. If you have the zip done right up to the top you’ll be toasty warm and if things need to cool down a little you simply lower the zip to allow more air near your torso. As a body warmer is sleeveless, arms have complete freedom of movement and are not restricted by shoulder/sleeve seams that can often feel tight when arms are drawn across the front of the body. Any pulling or throwing activity can be done easily in a body warmer.

Even in clothes that are the correct size for your child, garments that have a central back seam (and even those without) often are prone to splitting when there is strain on the shoulders and arms but with a body warmer this can’t happen, proof that there is unrestricted arm movement for the wearer.

Unhindered activity means that play can be physical and robust, burning up energy and allowing your child to healthily exhaust themselves so that a good night’s sleep follows a tiring and fun day.
