Hoodies

Despite there being great bargains in the sales and thoughtful gifts of jackets or coats bestowed upon children many of them are reluctant to wear them without coaxing and some adamantly refuse to put one on. Thankfully, hoodies are trendy, practical alternatives that will keep boys and girls warm, prevent the worst of the elements from penetrating their fabric too easily and are comfortable to wear.

If the weather was absolutely terrible children might agree to a raincoat or waterproof jacket or they would probably defer the outing if it was so wet their activity couldn’t take place anyway. It’s understandable that the hoodie has become the treasured favourite and more often than not it will be sufficient for purpose and provide adequate protection from the wind and the cold. At least they’re wearing something so it does make a good compromise.

Unlike many coats and jackets a hoodie can be cleaned in the washing machine so no matter how often it is worn or how grubby it might get you can always return it to its former respectability and good looks. Several colours are available so there is plenty of opportunity to match or coordinate the hoodie with other elements in a child’s wardrobe.
