Bibs

Bibs for babies and toddlers provide protection from spills and dribbles and protect T-shirts, dresses, jumpers and sweat shirts from stains and dampness.

When infants are teething it is quite incredible how much they drool down their chins with the dribble landing on their chests soaking their clothing underneath. You wouldn’t want to wear damp clothing, would you? Bibs in marvellously absorbent terry towelling can help prevent this happening. There are other options on the market with PVC backing but these cannot always take the amount of laundering required as the waterproof covering splits or tears and therefore no longer provides the waterproof backing it used to.

JKL Clothing has bibs that are stud fastening, Velcro® fastening or simple pull over styles. Once your baby has begun to move on to semi-solid food there will inevitable be splatters of yogurt, mashed banana (which stains terribly!), puréed vegetables and chewed rusks that land on the chest – a bib will catch the fallout and protect the clothes underneath so that a complete change will not be required each mealtime.

As toddlers learn to feed themselves and try to control baby beakers or feeding cups, spoons and forks independently, a bib will give them the confidence to continue with their tentative or enthusiastic endeavours with favourite foods and drinks, knowing they won’t be making a distressing mess on their clothes.
